lil spark: 15 weeks

Well, this is a few days late and for good reason, on Friday our usual post day we hopped aboard a plane in Raleigh and headed to Western Massachusetts to visit with Ashley and her husband Pat. Needless to say we had a GREAT time with them again and you can check out our trip over at my Chris and Jeanna blog.  In a few days I hope to have up some posts with pictures and all the wickedly awesome things that we did.  But till then check out our little apple.

How far along: 15 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 5 pounds, by this point last time I had gained 10lbs, but truthfully I am up 15 from pre-both-pregnancy weight.
Maternity clothes: yup
Stretch marks: nope
Sleep:  we took an amazingly wickedly awesome trip and it completely exhausted me so I slept great this weekend and last night.
Best moment this week:   when my girlfriend Ashley told me that I looked PG when I first saw her!!
Gender: still counting down the days (23 BTW) to the u/s; still thinking a girl.
Belly button in or out?: In, but it is wider and not as deep
Craving: MILK, needs to be ice cold and skim, preferably organic
What I miss: my energy, I was really shocked at how much traveling and walking took out of me.  Even after 8 hours of wonderful sleep last night I am groggy today.  Hopefully, after tonight I might feel more normal.
What I am looking forward to:  movement, sometimes I think I have felt a little something, but I can't be 100% sure.

No belly picture this week....life has been TOO crazy!!!  Just means Friday's picture will be that much more awesome!  The ironic thing is that I didn't have a 15 week picture with the twins to compare to anyway!

baby center dot com: Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple). She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds. Finally, if you have an ultrasound this week, you may be able to find out whether your baby's a boy or a girl! (Don't be too disappointed if it remains a mystery, though. Nailing down your baby's sex depends on the clarity of the picture and on your baby's position. He or she may be modestly curled up or turned in such a way as to "hide the goods.")
