Meanwhile, the likelihood of having identical twins (when one fertilized egg divides in half) is about one in 250. This rate hasn't changed over the decades and is remarkably constant all over the world.
I finally found a statistic, we should know more on Thursday if they are identical or if we will have to wait and do a blood DNA test after they are born....stay tuned this is going to be a big first week of 2010!!

Its amazing huh? I am about 1 in 10,000 for having 2 sets of spontaneous twins, one set identical and one set fraternal.
