IVF Day 9: u/s & b/w

Quick update as we are headed out of town for Thanksgiving.

Headed to the RE for an u/s and b/w.  

Ultrasound: 

Goal: follies that are 10-12 in size and a good amount apx 20 i think

Today:

• 3 follies (follicle that houses an egg inside is growing on the outside of the ovary) are at a 11-13 size
• 12 or more good sized follies on each ovary 
• The nurse was very please though she did say that the few that are ahead might have to be "sacrificed" to let the rest catch up and they would just be "over mature and wouldn't fertilize"
• My lining was "beautiful, exactly where we want it".  They wanted a 7 or higher mine was a 7.4!!!

As of right now we are staying on the same dosage of Follistim/Menapur, unless my bloodwork comes back low, which it did.

Bloodwork:

Goal: forgot to ask...anyone know?

Estradiol (E2): 85 today. It was 75 at baseline, then dropped to 10 and now is at 85...not sure what it means other than they are upping my follistim A LOT.  75IU to 225!  YIKES!  We are kicking this into high gear!
